Is Lasik bladeless?
All new lasik technologies are now automated. In all Lasik technologies, there is a kind of instrumentation involved, whether in creating a flap or removing a lenticule. The term "bladeless" lasik is more of a marketing tool . The only truly non-touch bladeless technology is TransPRK , which requires 3 days for recovery, compared to 3 hours of recovery in Ultralasik, 24 hours in femtolasik, and 3-5 days in Relex smile. Confused? Leave all the technical details for your docdtor, who will recommend only what is suitable for your eyes!
WHAT IS THE IDEAL AGE FOR LASIK?
Vision correction through Lasik/Laser can be done starting 18 years, and up to 59. My prescription has changed slightly since last year, can I still do lasik ?
Vision usually stabilizes between 18and 21 years . If there are no other conditions (retinal problems, keratoconus..), a small variation in vision can be assessed by the doctor and would not prevent you from getting Lasik done.
