Dr. Ali Fadlallah

Author of a book on Lasik procedures
He holds a Trainee Research Fellowship Diploma from Harvard University and an Ophthalmology specialized diploma from the prestigious Sorbonne University in Paris. He became a European board certified ophthalmologist after his training in the Hotel-Dieu of Paris, one of the oldest hospitals in Europe. He holds a Medical Diploma from the Saint-Joseph University in Beirut from which he graduated as Laureate and Magna cum Laude.

Dr Sonia holds a Spanish degree in Medicine from the Alcalá University, Madrid (Spain). She completed her Residency in Ophthalmology in Hospital Ramon y Cajal (Madrid) .
Before moving to UAE, she was working for 20 years in Clínica Baviera Iin Spain, the leader eye clinic group in Refractive Surgery
in Europe. Dr Sonia is an expert in Refractive (Vision Correction) and Cataract Surgery, having performed more than 16.000 procedures throughout her career (LASIK, LASEK, PRK, Phakic lens implantation, Cataract surgery and Refractive Lens Exchange). She has presented papers in international conferences, published papers for scientific journals, like the American Journal of Ophthalmology and the Journal of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and she has written book chapters about Paediatric Ophthalmology and Refractive Surgery. She is member of the Spanish Ophthalmological Society (SEO) , and European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ESCRS)
